Results of a Survey of PupilsJeong-Ok Rho, Chonbuk National University, South Korea
In October 2006, 456 male and female pupils in the third class of four different middle schools in the city of Jeonju (South Korea) were surveyed with a standardised questionnaire.
This determined satisfaction with food services (including the quality of the food, selection of the menu, variety offered, personnel), as well as information about the subject’s nutritional behaviour. Taken together, the results indicate that the pupils are primarily interested in good food and pleasant surroundings. There are widespread deficiencies in this core service, as well as weaknesses in the service personnel in the schools surveyed.
