Patients with rheumatic diseases require individual nutritional therapy, which allows for both the type of disease and concomitant food intolerance and comorbidities. Nutritional therapy is therefore an important supplement to drug therapy and should be started at the same time.Patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases can actively support their therapy with lactovegetarian nutrition and improve the long-term clinical course. The effect of nutritional therapy is only evident after 3 months and increases over 12 months.
